Field Trips

Groups up to 75 can be scheduled at any time Monday through Saturday. Give us a theme and we'll create 3 hands-on stations to reinforce your curriculum, encourage creativity and show every student that THEY have unique ideas! Return to your classroom/group and use projects for bulletin boards or language arts activities. Students learn about recycling and their chosen theme and are issued a challenge to create using their unique ideas in a setting where they can't be wrong. They then visit our "store" to fill a 5"x7"x11" grocery bag, choosing from over 300 items. Field trips last 1 ½ to 2 hours. Registration and deposit is required.

Girl Scout badge workshops can be scheduled at any time Monday through Saturday, with 4 projects in any art-centered badge. Badge workshops last 2 to 2 1/2 hours. Registration and deposit is required.

Call 313-640-4411 x 3 or email Suzan to schedule programs.

Tool Shed

This is our Accu Cut die cutting system.
You can cut various papers, our stickies,
our adhesive vinyl, felt and other materials. You may bring materials from home or purchase from us.

The tool shed is a production lab used during our open hours. Costs are minimal so everyone can participate.  "Tools" include: die cutter to cut shapes of paper, peel-and-stick vinyl, our foam "stickies", fabric and more.  You are welcomed to bring your own paper to cut.
We also have book binders, an electric badge maker, a cold laminator with a 12" opening and a paper cutter.

 Add a shape!
New dies range from $20 to $75 and can be purchased in honor or memory of someone. Organizations have purchased special shapes for their own purposes and left them to share with everyone.  The company can custom design any shape.

Click for a list of dies currently available.
