Service Description

Thank you for booking a donation appointment at our Detroit Community Store. We require you to wear a mask while donating. Park on the side of our building and bring your donation to our 'Delivery' door. Then ring our doorbell. Do not park in the front lot or bring your donation to our front door. Please be ready to move your donation from your car into our community store yourself. We are starting to accept donations during store hours again and our staff might be busy helping customers. If you are unable to move your own donations into the store from your vehicle please email us directly to set up a special drop off time. Help us by keeping your donation clean and organized in boxes or bins that you do not need back. We appreciate you doing extra work to keep items sorted for us. When everything gets tossed into one big trash bag it makes our jobs tougher. Only donate usable supplies. Lots of creative supplies lasts forever but some things like paints, glues, etc do not. If you know something is beyond its life, please throw it away rather than donating it. We are once again accepting bottle caps, VHS & cassette tapes, CDs, corks and tickets. Please continue to recycle paper towel and toilet paper tubes, old food containers and old used up candle jars. If you are an interior design studio looking to donate samples please email us directly.
