Volunteering at our Community Store helps transform donated, reused materials into powerful tools for creativity, learning, and access. Volunteers play a vital role in keeping the store welcoming and organized, ensuring educators, families, and young makers can find affordable supplies while supporting hands-on, arts- and STEM-based experiences. Every shift helps reduce waste, strengthen our community, and make creative opportunities more accessible for all.

We encourage groups numbering fewer than 3 volunteers and individuals volunteer with us in this way

 

You can expect:

• Help at the store by sorting donations, aiding in organization and cleaning

• Help families create projects at public/private events 

• Share your special talents

• This could range from IT or office assistance to floor maintenance (we own a buffer!)

• Join a committee or short-term team

• Help develop our organization with your knowledge
