Field Trips
Arts & Scraps’ in-house field trips invite classes into our creative classroom for an immersive, hands-on learning experience. Students explore a qualitative STEM concept through a guided art activity using reused materials and also have the opportunity to shop in our adjacent Community Store. This experience encourages creativity, collaboration, and thoughtful material exploration in a dynamic learning environment.

Our field trips are designed for Pre-K through 5th grade students, participants engage in guided, make-and-take activities that integrate art, recycled materials, and qualitative STEM concepts, encouraging creativity, problem-solving, and critical thinking. These sessions are interactive and exploratory, allowing students to learn by doing in a supportive, facilitated environment.
In addition to the workshop experience, students may also have the opportunity to shop in our adjacent Community Store, extending learning through choice, budgeting, and material exploration. Field trips are limited to a maximum of 30 students per class and are scheduled for approximately two hours, providing ample time for instruction, creation, and exploration. Bookings are currently limited to Fridays throughout 2026.
